This is a light-sensor product. It charges during the day and only lights up at night. If you need it to light up during the day, cover the solar panel. Daytime no light is normal — the panel is charging.
Our solar light string features 8 lighting modes, including steady on, flashing, and more. Note: The remote works via infrared (IR) and must be pointed directly at the solar panel. If not aligned properly, the remote will not work. You can also cycle through the 8 modes manually using the button on the solar panel.
